About Us

We are a School for Advanced Studies (SAS) and STEAM Magnet Center where our focal point is rigorous developmentally appropriate instruction for all students. The gifted, general and special education programs at Hubbard are enhanced by our full arts program that includes music, dance, theater and visual arts. Hubbard Elementary has a strong parent/teacher/student partnership that supports a uniform policy as part of our school-wide positive behavior plan.

2025 California Distinguished Schools Logo

2025 California Distinguished Schools

State Superintendent of Public Instruction Tony Thurmond announced that Hubbard Street Elementary has been selected for the prestigious 2025 California Distinguished Schools Program, California’s school recognition program that recognizes two categories of exceptional schools: those Closing the Achievement Gap and those demonstrating Exceptional Student Performance.
